Bob's many years of dedicated work in the 1960s, 70s and 80s led to a remarkably complete record of our ancestors up until about 1993. The history book was the result of Don and Len's research into the Tontz history and the expansion of the genealogical research done by another great-grandchild, Bob Gillett. In this electronic age, we decided it was time to put the history and genealogy online. In 2011 they were joined by Bill Gillett, also a great-grandchild, in updating the genealogy.
